Miracle On MMN

MMN,

A couple years ago you had made a miracle happen. I met my wife on your website and we hit it off so good that I married her in 6 months. There were a lot of downfalls to finding someone suitable, but you made it very easy. I wish I could sign in and thank all those that gave me hope and never to give up. Today, i would like to let you know that we have a beautiful 4 week old daughter. All thanks to you, my life has settled well. I wish I could log in and thank all the brothers and sisters i met here...Anyways, I will mail you my wedding pics and the pic of my family.

Thank you so much.

T and T got married in Cairo!

Dear all at MMN,

Firstly, all Praise to Allah SWT for all things. May His Peace and Blessings be upon his Final Prophet Muhammad (Salailahu alayhi wa Salam).

We are approaching our 2nd anniversary and intended to share our story along time ago, finally here it is!

Back in March 2005, which now seems like decades ago, we met on the MMN website. My future husband had been a member for a while whereas I had not long joined. I was browsing profiles one day and was amazed by what I read of 'Dissenters'. Even though he lived in Cairo I just wanted to say that I agreed with a lot he had said. With no intention of marrying outside my native land (the UK) I contacted him as he seemed like such an interesting person. Actually it would be better to say essay rather than profile! I told him pretty much straight away that I was not interested in marriage as it had always seemed difficult to marry outside ones own country.
Our Fates were to start here.
We spoke extensively and found we were highly compatible. It came to a point where it was either meet now or break contact as there was really no more to be said.
After six months of contact, I travelled to Egypt as it was the only way (after having also gotten to know his family, especially his sister).
After three days in Cairo we decided that we for sure wanted to marry, the sooner the better! So after having been in Cairo for just 8 days we signed the contract and became husband and wife Alhamdulillah.
We have been living in Cairo ever since. Alhamdulillah Rabbil-Al Amin we now have a 4 month old daughter and feel truly blessed.
Thank you for your service MMN !! May many more find pious spouses inshAllah.
We will forward a pic soon...

Nadia and Guffy.

Hello everybody. Guffy and me started to exchange emails in june 12th in 2006. Later, in August 6th, he went to visit me to Mexico and we spend 6 days together and he had the chance to know my family. After this me and my mam travelled to UK in December, we met the family and 2 days after my arrival we got engaged. We spent 10 days together that time. In March 8th we travelled again back to Mexico, he spent 3 weeks there, we got the civil registration in March 24th and I came to UK with him the first of april. We got our Nikkha 7 days later and walima one day after this. Its been 2 weeks of marriage so far and every day we thank Allah for the miracle of being in love and the blessing of being able to be together. Be patient, and dont forget to ask Allah for the family you want to build.
